It is listed as existing, with annual reports on file for 2022 and 2023.^[4]

2025 mayoral campaign

Mark Spurlin ran for mayor of Pike Road in 2025. He announced on April 8, 2025, and campaigned on managing the town's rapid growth.^[5] He lost to the incumbent, Gordon Stone, in the election of August 26, 2025. The election-night count reported by WSFA was 1,566 votes to 1,512, a 54-vote margin.^[6] The town council's canvass, adopted on September 2, 2025, put the official totals at 1,567 for Stone and 1,515 for Spurlin, a 52-vote margin.^[7] See Mark Spurlin (Pike Road mayoral candidate).

Spurlin Builders (Kentucky)

According to a Dun & Bradstreet directory listing, Spurlin Builders of Lewisburg, Logan County, Kentucky, has built new single-family houses since 1980. The listing could not be opened to confirm this.^[8]

Spurlin Construction, LLC (Arkansas)

Spurlin Construction, LLC is a contractor based in Poyen, Grant County, Arkansas. The Better Business Bureau lists Kevin Spurlin as owner, gives the business's start date as April 1, 2019, and files it under awnings, pole barns and concrete. The firm was not BBB-accredited but had an A+ rating when this entry was checked.^[9] BuildZoom lists Spurlin Construction LLC at Donaldson, Arkansas, holding an active state license (No. 0389560627). The license covers carpentry, framing, concrete, metal buildings, siding, gutters and related work, and six earlier license numbers are marked cancelled.^[10]

Spurlin Masonry, Inc. is a masonry contractor in Douglasville, Douglas County, Georgia.^[11][12] OpenCorporates has a record for it as a Georgia corporation, but the page sits behind a CAPTCHA and could not be read for this entry.^[13] Alabama's Secretary of State lists it as a Georgia corporation, based in Douglasville, that qualified to do business in Alabama on November 6, 2006. That record gives the company's Georgia formation date as March 5, 1985, and shows Alabama annual reports only for 2007 and 2008.^[14] Search-result excerpts of a ZoomInfo profile instead say the firm was established in 1965, and put its staff at about five to nine people.^[15] Manta estimates a staff of one to four.^[12] Yelp lists it under masonry and concrete, with services including brick, stone, steps and stamped concrete.^[16] Other directory listings describe masonry, paver and fireplace work.^[17]

Estel L. Spurlin, Inc. (Florida)

Estel L. Spurlin, Inc. was a roofing contractor in Longwood, Seminole County, Florida. Florida's Department of Business and Professional Regulation lists Estel Lee Spurlin, doing business as Estel L Spurlin Inc, as a certified roofing contractor under license CCC056769. The license was first issued on March 31, 1993, and qualified a construction business from July 29, 2004. It expired on August 31, 2020, and is now recorded as "null and void."^[18] The company was incorporated in Florida on September 25, 2003. It filed its last annual report in 2020 and was administratively dissolved on September 24, 2021, for failing to file one.^[19]
