History

According to its history page, the funeral home opened in September 1996, and three generations of the Spurlin family have served families in Garrard County.[1] It is the earliest of the Spurlin-named funeral homes in central Kentucky; the family subsequently opened Spurlin Funeral Home in neighboring Stanford in 1999[3] and acquired the long-established Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home in Danville in 2014.[4]
